First Olsen Ltd. (the Company) was incorporated in 1993 and has its registered office in Bermuda.

As per January 2008, subsidiaries of the Company owned and operated one Suezmax tanker, one jack-up rig (MOPU) two Floating Storage and Offloading units (FSOs) and four Floating Production, Storage and Offloading units (FPSOs).

The tanker vessel is operated by Knock Tankers Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Knock Tankers Ltd. also acts as commercial manager for other shipping activities of the Company.

Safety is paramount in tanker operations and it is the Company's policy to operate at safety standards second to none. The technical management of teh Suezmax tanker is performed by V.Ships Norway AS (Oslo), who has demonstrated total commitment to the Company and its goals in this respect. 

Fred. Olsen Production ASA (FOP), whose core business is to own and operate FPSOs, FSOs and jack-up rigs together with Fred. Olsen Marine Services AS, the technical manager to FOP, are both wholly owned by First Olsen.

Mr Per-Oscar Lund, the Company's President, has been with the Company since April 1998.
